Healing Through Motion,
Baptist Women's Health Services Comprehensive Breast Care Center
Free exercise program and other services for breast cancer survivors and patients. The Healing Through Motion program, available free to breast cancer patients and survivors offers renewed hope for healing and wellness. Designed for survivors in all phases of recovery, the program offers: monthly seminars, a personal fitness assessment, a personalized training plan and instruction in yoga and relaxation classes. Supervised exercise sessions are designed to increase strength and range of motion and are accompanied by one-on-one nutritional counseling. The seminars and yoga classes are being held at the Guy Bates Center in the Baptist Medical Plaza. Call 615/284-LADY (5239) for more information regarding seminars and fitness programs.
