Beth Uselton

Beth Uselton brings 23 years of experience in nonprofit leadership to their role as Development Director at TBCC.

She is passionate about helping others. After beginning her career providing direct patient care in a women’s health clinic, she took that experience, and all she learned from her patients, to become a health care advocate and address issues in our health care system. For the last 18 years, Beth has been involved in health care access and policy advocacy, helping to advance patient protections that cover mammograms and well-woman care, and prevent insurers from denying coverage to women with pre-existing conditions like breast cancer.

Her expertise in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit governance, policy advocacy and strategic planning advances TBCC's mission to be the foremost advocate and provider for Tennesseans facing breast cancer.

Outside of her professional and board work, Beth enjoys gardening, camping, and exploring the great outdoors with her two kids, her husband, and their rambunctious dog, Delilah.

She is committed to fostering a broad network of financial supporters, ensuring TBCC continues to make a lasting difference statewide.

Beth’s Why: I serve at TBCC because my mother is a breast cancer survivor. I was her caregiver 25 years ago, and have remained committed to fighting this disease and supporting those undergoing treatment
