Non-Discrimination Policy
Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition does not and shall not discriminate in its programs, services, employment, or operations based on race, color, religion (creed), sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity), age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, military status, or any other protected status under applicable law. These activities include, but are not limited to, the appointment to and termination from its Board of Directors, hiring and firing of staff or contractors, selection of volunteers, selection of vendors, compensation, promotions, and all other terms and conditions of employment and service delivery. We ensure reasonable accommodations for disabilities and religious beliefs as required by law and prohibit retaliation for reporting discrimination.
Any complaint of a violation of this policy should be directed to the Executive Director or to the Board President, should the complaint be against the Executive Director. Any complaint will be immediately investigated in a confidential manner, and the affected parties notified of the outcome.
