Marcella Tudeen has 15 years experience in diabetes research and hospital programming and she also brings 10+ years of community service in breast cancer support to her role at TBCC.
As a retired program director for Healthways, Marcella has overseen inpatient/outpatient hospital-based diabetes programs, advancing patient education, support initiatives and programming to help improve the health outcomes of diabetes patients.
Marcella is passionate about strengthening support, connection and resources for those affected by breast cancer. She has been involved in leading and supporting several service initiatives, like the YMCA's After Breast Cancer program. Here she creates meaningful connections, provides education/awareness, and uplifts individuals through life’s challenges. Marcella is a two time TBCC board member where her impact and heart for service are both immeasurable.
Her expertise in program development and community engagement advances TBCC’s mission to be the foremost advocate and provider for Tennesseans facing breast cancer.
Outside of her professional and board work, Marcella enjoys playing tennis, taking nature walks and spending time with family and friends. This reflects her belief in the power of well-being, balance and connection.
She is committed to fostering meaningful community impact and awareness of services for survivors and ensuring TBCC continues to make a lasting difference statewide.
