In her 3rd year serving on the TBCC Board of Directors, Sherri Wines brings an understanding of what breast cancer patients are going through. She is a breast cancer survivor herself and a retired Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse.

Sherri loves to be involved in her community and has devoted her life to serving and giving.  In addition to TBCC, she has served on the Auxiliary Board at her daughters’ schools, coordinated appreciation breakfasts and lunches for their amazing teachers among other life giving work. She is a doer. She is a listener. She believes in serving with humility, devotion, determination, and love.

Sherri is committed to meeting people where they are. She recognizes there are many simple ways to help and encourage others that are purposeful and meaningful. She is inspired by others’ journeys and wants to continue to grow and evolve to make a difference.

Outside of her faith, family, friends, and service to TBCC, what gets her joy on is Zumba, being outside, and yes, her grandson!   Sherri's favorite quote is by Helen Keller: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.”

My Why: "As a breast cancer survivor, I understand this diagnosis and this journey.  I am committed to using my care, voice, talents, and love to step up for others and speak out for those who are struggling," Sherri Wines - TBCC Board of Directors
