Stacy Case has been volunteering and serving with the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition since 2016.   She brings 32 years of TV News experience to her role as TBCC Board President.  Stacy is a 2-time Murrow and 2-time Emmy award-winning investigative journalist whose work has taken her to New York as a national network correspondent and to major cities across America as a lead anchor.  Stacy spent 13 years as Fox Nashville's lead anchor, which is how she became aware of TBCC!  She immediately fell in love with our tangible mission to pay the bills of Tennessee breast cancer patients. 

Stacy spent her journalism career righting wrongs, shining a light on injustice, and especially finding solutions for those in need.  The latter is exactly why she's passionate about our work at TBCC because we are the safety net for thousands of Tennesseans.  TBCC's niche mission is vitally important since this diagnosis often triggers financial hardship. 

Stacy has spent her adult life in the service sector, both professionally and personally serving as a child mentor, Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and on the boards of several charitable, school and civic causes. 

Outside of her professional and board work, Stacy enjoys family time first, followed by travel, gardening, paddleboarding, water skiing, and throwing pottery. 

My Why:   "I serve on the TBCC Board of Directors because I lost my mom to breast cancer 11 years ago.  This was her second diagnosis.  The first diagnosis came 28 years prior, when I was a senior in high school.  I'm so thankful for all the extra years with my mom and understand how important proper care and support are for someone battling this disease.  My grandmother also had breast cancer twice.  I'm humbled to serve with TBCC and am dedicated to supporting Tennesseans who need a little help on their way to the other side of this diagnosis.  I am honored to have met some of the people TBCC has assisted, and it brings me to my knees in gratitude. You never have to wonder where your money is going when you give to TBCC.  It goes directly to fellow Tennesseans in need."
